Trend Report- Bold Colors

Spring/Summer season is here and one of the major trends for the season is BOLD COLORS. It’s a throwback to the 90s and the color explosion. However these colors are given a modern twist.

This report looks at this trend from three angles. The runway, street style anhigh atreet brands.

Bold Colors off the Runway

Being that today the 8th of March is International Women’s Day, the runway looks are of brands run by women.

First off, Lanvin. Michèle Huiban has been CEO since 2013, Lanvin took on the bold color trend in its SS 2018 show.

Next is Chanel. Chanel’s global CEO since 2007 is Maureen Chiquet. This French luxury brand also included the trend in its SS18 ready to wear collection.

Street Style in Bold Colors

Where is the best place to find out if a trend is really a trend? Street Style at Fashion Week. Below are three very different takes on the trend.

First at the Kiev Fashion Week 2018
