In my third microblog entry, we talk about online window shopping while I socially distance.
Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Nigeria, I had a made a bunch of plans for my career and future in general and some of those plans included shooting a lot of fashion videos. From look books to trend books. Well, all that has been put on hold while we wait for this nightmare to end.
A huge part of my days have included reading as many fashion websites as possible ( might pitch a few) and window shopping as well. So I thought to share with you some of my favorite things I’ve saved and have shopped in my mind. From ASOS to Cult Gaia.
Window shopping ASOS .
I rarely buy clothes on ASOS anymore. However, I buy accessories ( and skincare, a lot of skincare ) and the off chance fantastic piece of clothing. However here’s my Mini Haul from window shopping on ASOS
These trousers just scream uber cool and fit right into my vibe for SS2020 which I will share with you in a post soon. The slouchy, laid back feel and the pleat details just get to me.
Price : £38.00
Continuing the laid back feel, these chunky trainers are right on trend especially with the pastel colors. Ughhh how much I crave these.
Price : £35.00
Many a time, on this blog, I have shared my love for boots and that love has in no way faded over time. It was an instant attraction between me and these ankle boots with gold buckle detail. The rich chocolate color just gave it that extra oomph! I see my self strutting along Oxford (when this pandemic is over) street in these and popping into Miss Selfridges to look at earrings.
An obvious dupe for the Bottega Veneta ruched bag, this ASOS design bag is one to purchase is every color. You know how much I love a good deal and for the price this is at, I’m sold!
Window Shopping Cult Gaia
Cult Gaia is the brand that I dream of finishing up my closet with when I can finally afford it. The simple yet effortlessly elegant pieces just scream luxe. Before we get o the point where I can afford them let’s go shopping a bit. Fear nor gree me look more than three pieces.
The set includes the Stacie pants and the Sylvie top. This luxe pair is made from 50% Viscose, 50% Rayon and is guaranteed to keep you airy. I see myself in Bali just gliding like the goddess I am. Well let’s see how much damage this pair did to my imaginary wallet.
Price : Stacie pants ; N140,700 Sylvie Top; N136,800
Picture this, me in this dress, arm in arm with my imaginary boo walking alongside the beach after the most romantic moonlit dinner in Sifnos. Just like with every Cult Gaia piece, there’s a subtle elegance to the Florence dress and this yellow print just adds a bit of whimsy. For just N392,200 this dress is all mine.
P.S : Cult Gaia ships to Nigeria and offer free shipping for orders above N73,030.
Did you enjoy going shopping with me? Are you socially distancing? If you are, how are you spending your days?
